This Gewürztraminer didn’t rush to show its hand. For years it was just the usual suspects — lychee, peach, jasmine — but not much depth. Then oxidation stepped in and changed everything. The fruit softened into light caramel tones, the acidity and saltiness found their balance, and the wine shifted from youthful flutter to a more grounded, serious structure.

Made much like Anders’ Wear me like a flower, the juice was left open for two nights to breathe, settle, and begin its ferment naturally. It spent six months fermenting in fibre tanks under the sky, then another three and a half years aging in old barriques. The result is a wine with both elegance and edge, carrying Gewürztraminer into unexpected territory.
