Sangiovese, Grenache Blanc

A chillable red blend built on King Valley Sangiovese (~ 90%) with a side-kick of Grenache Blanc (~10%). The Sangiovese is destemmed and macerated for about 7 days, while the Grenache Blanc is likewise skin-macerated for texture and herbal lift. The wine then spends ~9 months in neutral oak before being blended down to stainless steel a month before bottling. 

In the glass, it shows fresh red fruit — cherries, strawberries — paired with soft herbal notes. The tannins are present and defined but aren’t harsh; they lend structure and grip without overpowering. You’ll also sense savoury undertones as well as a slight spice, and the finish is clean, energetic, and designed to be enjoyed lightly chilled. 

What makes it special is that balances structure and drinkability: wine for now, but with enough personality to feel distinct. The wild ferment, no filtration or fining, and organic approach let the vintage and vineyard speak through.
