Pheasant's Tears Kisi 2023

A skin-contact white made from the rare, indigenous Georgian grape Kisi, grown organically in Kakheti. Fermented and aged in traditional qvevri (large clay amphorae buried underground), it spends several months on its skins, giving the wine its amber colour and firm tannic grip. Aromas of dried apricot, citrus peel, and wild herbs mingle with hints of nuts and honey. The palate is full-bodied and textural, with vibrant acidity and a savoury, gently spiced finish. A classic expression of Georgia’s ancient winemaking heritage, it balances power with drinkability.
