Pinot Noir

A striking red Pinot Noir from a prized parcel in Villers-la-Faye, straddling the border of Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. Grown organically, hand-picked, vinified with whole clusters, and handled with minimal intervention, this wine sees natural fermentation and aging in older small barrels before being bottled without fining or filtration. In the glass it shows dark ruby tones and a perfume of red berries, cranberries, rose petal, even a faint undergrowth aroma. On the palate it’s structured and lively — crunchy acidity, fine tannins, hints of smoke and spice — balanced and elegant. It’s youthful now, but it has the bones to age well, and already delights with its mix of purity, tension, and classic Burgundy soul.
