Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot Poulsard Amphore 2021

Poulsard (Ploussard) vinified/aged in amphora. Light red, perfume and tannin with an unusual texture.

Fermented on skins with native yeasts and matured in terracotta amphorae, low or no SO₂. Terracotta accentuates Poulsard’s floral perfume while adding mouthfeel and a gentle savor; a very Jura-specific experiment that works.

Red berries, rose, light spice, a touch of earth and a subtle tannic grip- airy and persistent.
