Macabeu & Muscat à Petits Grains

A doorway into Matassa’s style — this is a vibrant white at its most barefoot and alive. Made from Macabeu and Muscat à Petits Grains grown high on limestone and iron-rich soil, the grapes are fermented spontaneously and aged on their lees in concrete tanks without sulphur or filtration. 

What makes it special: airy freshness with a saline breeze, floral hints and a texture that feels both light and lingering.
Tasting mood: citrus blossom, pear skin, gentle orchard fruit and a subtle savory thread that keeps it alive on the finish.
Feel: refreshing, light-footed, and endlessly gluggable — a great introduction to skin-touched whites from Roussillon.
