A glowing, golden-hued field blend of Nosiola, Vermentino, and Malvasia — grapes more often found in Italy than Australia, but here given a new voice by Dane Johns in Victoria. True to Momento Mori’s style, it’s made with organically farmed fruit, wild ferments, and no additions, so what you taste is pure vineyard character. The nose offers citrus peel, peach, and a whisper of herbs, while the palate is textured from gentle skin contact yet lifted with bright acidity. There’s a touch of almondy depth and a saline edge that keeps it refreshing, finishing clean and dry.
