Domaine Tissot is one of Jura’s great family estates- thoughtful, varied and quietly influential. Stéphane and Bénédicte farm many small parcels across the Arbois and Pupillin hills: limestone, marl and clay plots with old vines. They combine tradition (long ageing, local varieties like Poulsard, Trousseau and Savagnin) with subtle modern thinking: biodynamic plots, careful cellar choices and respectful ageing. The house does everything from bright, pale Poulsard to deep Trousseau and mineral Chardonnay; their amphora and oak experiments sit comfortably alongside classical Jura styles. The wines read of place first, technique second- honest and long-lived.
