Collection: Milan Nestarec-Velké Bílovice-Moravia-Czech Republic

Milan Nestarec’s approach is rooted in authenticity, and it all began early. He took over his family’s estate work in Velké Bílovice when he was just 16, nurturing the vineyards with curiosity and care.

Since then, he has transformed a modest beginning into a robust estate of around 24 hectares, all farmed using organic and regenerative methods, certified since 2022 but practiced since as early as 2008. These vineyards sit on loess and clay soils with some sandy patches, which give depth and freshness to a mix of grapes such as Grüner Veltliner, Neuburger, Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau, Blaufränkisch and Pinot Noir.

In the cellar, Milan follows a simple but powerful mantra: no gimmicks, just wine. Everything is hand-harvested, fermented with wild yeasts, pressed gently, and aged simply in tanks or old barrels, before being bottled with no fining, no filtration, and minimal or zero sulfur.

His wines are expressive and alive, carrying a true sense of place and moment, what he calls the “genius loci.” From playful cuvées like Danger 380 Volts to more serious bottlings like G&T or JIL, the wines are creative, thoughtful, and always evolving rather than repeating.

In short: Milan makes wine that feels human, with energy, originality and honesty in every sip. No pretension, just wine that lets you feel where it came from.
